In the story Israel (Jacob) went from Canaan to Egypt to buy seeds to plant in Canaan. This was a planting of bad consciousness into good consciousness. He repeated this error a couple of more times, each time becoming easier and easier to do.
Israel had a vision in the night to move into Egypt. And God spoke unto Israel, ‘Fear not to go down into Egypt; I will go down with thee, and I also surely bring
thee up again. The vision in the night represents dulled consciousness due to self will
and a
lack of faith.
It is not easy to understand that the inner or invisible, is All Cause; and from it alone each individual receives all things.
What Israel didn’t hear was God say, should you go to Egypt (self will) I will still be
there for I Am Omnipresent and I will pull thee up from there for I Am Omnipotent.
God did not instruct Jacob to go to Egypt only that he would still be there with Jacob
should he decide to make this error in understanding. Though he choose to leave Canaan
Devine love
is still with him
When guided by human opinion rather than the word of God (the Christ that dwells within) we are living in duality and it starts to become easy to repeat this action until we find ourselves deep in separation (within in our thoughts). In truth God Omnipresent is still with us but our consciousness has dulled itself from its true spiritual self.
Can we live both in Canaan and Egypt at the same time? Is it that we are but pilgrims
here on earth and Heaven is my home? That here on earth all spiritual power can not be
obtained and so we must do what we must do to sustain? Only when we leave earth then
do we gain full spiritual power and receive full spiritual supply?
The answer is No to all the questions. These are questions for one who is searching in
the wilderness. In truth Heaven is now! God is All Good Omnipresent and we are his
children and like begets like. All that we need He already supplies us in absolute
abundance.
The external is not the source; it is a result, an effect, of an inner cause. We see
the beauty of God manifested in the visible and mistake it for the source of goodness
when it is only a result. We can not receive any permanent good from the without. We
also cannot receive any permanent harm from the without. God is the only source and
cause of all that exists.
Our personal thoughts are colored by our own desires.
Often this is the case. Misinterpreting God’s Wisdom, God’s Abundance. Though it may
Seem right, but one can’t help but to question; how in a world of Gods Omnipresence due we have half the world starving
and suffering?
This is lack of faith, wisdom and trust. This not Gods doing but our own doing.
No matter how far we sink to the depths of ignorance, Divine Power never forsakes nor turns away from us. It is we who do the turning, the shutting out.
God’s Truth is the only power that can help man not the Pharaohs or human opinion.
This is where we put our trust not that which is but a shadow of good.
Divine expresses in the external result from what was received from within.
Matt 6:33, “Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added onto you.” This scientific prayer is the only and absolute solution.
Jesus gave us this law.
